Some would say the aroma of delicious food would entail what welcoming is. Even the fresh smell of coffee brewing can be welcoming. To many of us, that’s true. The great smells of food and drinks are always good, but so is beauty. Put in another way, a beautiful kitchen is a welcoming kitchen.

Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. But for sure, if you have a beautiful cabinet set and beautiful kitchen worktops, then, that wraps up the whole thing. The money would be invested in these two to make their kitchen beautiful. For the cabinet, some would adore the look of mahogany. And as for countertops, nothing beats stone kitchen work surfaces. Stones look natural, and they give an amazing shine to the place. The most popular stones are marble, granite, and quartz. Marble and granite occur naturally, hence you will find their looks unpredictable.
On the other hand, quartz is human-made (hence, the term ‘engineered stone’). You will see that quartz has specks that are rather uniform, giving away its human-made character. To me, all three stones are good candidates for your kitchen countertop. On which one to choose, you need to ask yourself which look you’d like best.
